The Power of a Willing Yes
Speaker Tribe NZ Leadership Team
Last month, I stepped out in faith and pitched to become a leader within the Speakers Tribe.
I'm both humbled and excited to share that I’ve been accepted into this new chapter — and with it comes my first challenge: to share a video on the power of saying yes.
It’s amazing what doors begin to open when we dare to say yes — not just to opportunities, but to growth, to courage, and to the unknown paths where our purpose awaits.
It’s an honour and a privilege to serve you. Whether you know me through art, healing gatherings, or a quiet moment of prayer – thank you for being here.
I’ve been reflecting lately on the power of saying yes to leadership.
Not the loud, polished kind. But the sacred, surrendered kind – the kind that whispers, “Here I am, Lord, use me.”
Because the truth is, I didn’t say yes out of confidence. I said yes out of surrender. My journey into leadership didn’t begin with a platform. It began with broken pieces… and the gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit saying, “I’m not asking if you’re ready. I’m asking if you’re willing.”
And so, I said yes — hesitantly at first. But that simple, holy yes opened doors—not just for me but for others God was longing to reach through my obedience.
Leadership isn’t about titles or control. It’s about presence – showing up with courage, compassion, and creativity. It’s about being a safe space for others to grow, breathe, and belong.
Every yes we give becomes an invitation for someone else to step into healing, purpose, or hope.
You don’t have to be perfect to lead. You just have to be present.
So today, if your heart’s stirring and you feel a gentle invitation from God to step up – even if it scares you – say yes.
Say yes to purpose. Say yes to presence. Say yes to becoming the vessel He already sees in you.
Because your yes might just be someone else’s breakthrough.
