About the Course:

Welcome to the "Healing Trauma" seminar series, a comprehensive teaching designed to address the profound impact of trauma on individuals, families, and communities. The inspiration for this series arose from a powerful vision where the speaker was warned of "a wave of trauma coming that is bigger than Katrina" and a divine mandate for the church to be prepared to help.

This series aims to provide hope, help, freedom, and peace to all who participate:

  • For those who have experienced trauma: The goal is to help you recognise that there is hope, support, and a path to freedom and inner peace.

  • For those who love and support traumatised individuals: The series offers a deeper understanding of what your loved ones, and indeed yourselves, have endured, aiming to impart courage and hope, and facilitate healing in your own heart.

  • For those learning to minister: You will gain insights into the many faces of trauma, how it affects the body, soul, and spirit, and be equipped with specific ministry tools and prayers for trauma resolution.

As we embark on this journey, we hold to the profound truth that the biggest lesson learned on the journey of healing and transformation with Elijah House is that God will use everything the enemy meant for our demise for good so He may be glorified. This core lesson reminds us that the enemy has won no victories, and we are overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony [Revelation 12:11]. This seminar embodies the spirit of Isaiah 6:8, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said, 'Here am I. Send me!' as it offers an opportunity to learn more about trauma and its effects, and crucially, how to carry each other's burdens and love each other back to life. Indeed, our ministry is found where you've been broken, and your testimony is found where you've been restored.

Beyond mere instruction, this seminar is designed to be an experiential journey where you can encounter the love, peace, and healing power of God through corporate prayer, soaking, and dedicated ministry times. The series does not dwell on the past but focuses on present-day fruit, helping you understand how trauma affects your "song" or true identity, and how strongholds develop. It covers a wide array of trauma types, from fear-based and physical trauma to the deep wounds of neglect and generational patterns.

Ultimately, this series invites you to engage with the truth that Jesus is a God who heals, loves, and restores, offering a courageous step to open your heart to His transformative work.

Testimonial — Healing 💔heARTs💖 Encounter Groups

The Encounter Groups have been one of the most transformative parts of my healing journey. What began as a small gathering of hearts hungry for God’s presence has become a safe, sacred space where truth, grace, and restoration flow freely. Week after week, I’ve witnessed the Lord meet people right where they are — healing wounds, restoring hope, and deepening connection. For me personally, these groups have not only strengthened my relationship with God but also birthed deep friendships and a renewed sense of purpose. They're teaching me vulnerability. It’s a place where we don’t have to have it all together — where tears and laughter, prayer and creativity, all weave together into something beautiful. We can belong before we behave and be loved back to life by God through His children. Every session reminds me that healing truly happens in community, and that the same God who meets us in our brokenness is faithful to make something new and whole again when we confess one to the other and carry each other's burdens to fulfil the law of Christ. 'Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
