About the Course:

This series offers a comprehensive exploration of Christian prayer ministry, delving into the foundational principles and practical applications for deep spiritual healing and transformation.

The initial chapters establish that the Bible is the ultimate basis for this ministry, rather than psychology or theology, serving as the instrument for discerning the heart. This biblical framework introduces four fundamental laws of God – honouring parents, not judging others, sowing and reaping, and condemning oneself by judging another – as the unchangeable and eternal principles governing the universe and the basis for all ministry.

The series then moves to the ingredients of Christian prayer ministry, emphasising a model guided by the Holy Spirit over rigid methods, focusing on deep healing of the heart rather than superficial fixes. Key aspects include examining present "fruit" in a person's life to uncover its "roots," which often trace back to unhealed traumas and sinful responses in childhood. The process relies heavily on scripture, prayer, spiritual gifts, and empathetic connection to help individuals identify and dismantle strongholds of judgment, expectations, and inner vows. This journey is depicted as resurrection-centred, aiming to chip away what is not truly God's design for a person.

Bitter roots are identified as a powerful negative force in lives, stemming from sinful reactions to hurt and condemning judgments against others, oneself, or even God. These roots, often formed in early childhood, lead to "bitter expectations" and the reaping of destructive patterns. The healing process involves recognising these roots, confessing and repenting of sinful responses, forgiving, and reckoning them as dead through the cross of Christ.

Building on this, the series addresses the heart of stone and inner vows, explaining them as defensive structures developed from life's blows to protect oneself from hurt. These vows, often unconscious and made in formative years, impede intimacy with God and others, leading to loneliness, isolation, and even physical ailments. Healing involves recognising these vows, along with underlying wounds, judgments, and lies, and then bringing them to death through repentance, forgiveness, and the love of Jesus, allowing the heart of flesh to emerge.

How we see God is explored next, highlighting how distortions in our perception of God often stem from our experiences with earthly parents and the judgments we form. Unmet needs, unfair discipline, or neglect can create "log jams" in our hearts, preventing us from receiving God's full blessings and perceiving Him as truly loving or powerful. Healing involves reconciling these distorted views through a process of recognition, repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation with God and others, allowing for a pure, intimate knowledge of Him.

Finally, honouring father and mother is presented as a crucial commandment with a promise for a long and well-lived life, and almost every life failure can be linked to its breach. Dishonour, whether overt rebellion or passive resentment, creates destructive cycles and influences relationships, families, and even nations. The lesson stresses the importance of honouring individuals based on their identity, relationship, and position, not solely on their performance, and encourages separating a person's behaviour from their inherent worth. The healing path involves acknowledging dishonour, repenting, forgiving, and actively choosing to honour, thereby breaking cycles and restoring relationships.

Testimonial — Healing 💔heARTs💖 Encounter Groups

The Encounter Groups have been one of the most transformative parts of my healing journey. What began as a small gathering of hearts hungry for God’s presence has become a safe, sacred space where truth, grace, and restoration flow freely. Week after week, I’ve witnessed the Lord meet people right where they are — healing wounds, restoring hope, and deepening connection. For me personally, these groups have not only strengthened my relationship with God but also birthed deep friendships and a renewed sense of purpose. They're teaching me vulnerability. It’s a place where we don’t have to have it all together — where tears and laughter, prayer and creativity, all weave together into something beautiful. We can belong before we behave and be loved back to life by God through His children. Every session reminds me that healing truly happens in community, and that the same God who meets us in our brokenness is faithful to make something new and whole again when we confess one to the other and carry each other's burdens to fulfil the law of Christ. 'Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
