A Humble Yes

When God Uses Our Willingness

📖 “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."

2 Corinthians 12:9

Last week I stood at a crossroads. A dear friend needed prayer ministry, and my first instinct was to shrink back. I wanted to hand the responsibility over to someone with more experience, more confidence — more anything, really. I felt that old inner voice rise up, the one that tells me I’m not quite enough.

But something within me whispered another truth. Say yes. Not because I had all the answers, but because God would meet us there.

So I did.

This afternoon, Ester and I joined hearts and hands, and as we prayed, the Spirit of God moved so tangibly it brought tears to our eyes. There was a deep work happening — quiet, tender, profound. And I knew in that sacred moment, God wasn’t looking for perfection. He was simply looking for availability.

🖼️ How this Painting Completes this Devotion:

"Crimson Genesis" is an abstract fluid acrylic pour that captures the sacred spark — the first breath of beauty, boldness, and life. Each swirl and cell seems to echo the rhythm of divine intention, where chaos gives way to order, and art is birthed from the unseen. Sealed with care and created with heart, this piece adds warmth and wonder to any space — a small reminder that every day is a fresh beginning.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

This artwork mirrors the theme of your devotional, where a simple "yes" leads to a transformative journey, much like the inception of creation itself.
