📖"So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them."
Genesis 1:27

“I’m not creative!”
"I can't sing!"
"I can't draw!"
“I can’t paint!”
Those were the first lies the Lord dismantled in my life and it happened during the quiet, uncertain days of lockdown in 2020.
It’s wild how easily we absorb these untruths. How early they creep in. Every toddler draws, sings, dances, and paints with abandon. Until something happens — a harsh comment, a disapproving look, an unintentional wound — and creativity is tucked away. Buried. Forgotten.
But here's the truth:
Creativity is part of your DNA.
You were created in the image of the Ultimate Creator (Genesis 1:27).
Before God is anything else — He introduces Himself as Creator (Genesis 1:1). Even Jesus, before stepping into ministry, was a carpenter — a craftsman, a builder, a creative soul.
The enemy has done his utmost to distort our identity — to silence the joy of creation, the freedom of self-expression, the healing that comes when we pick up the brush or raise our voice. We often hide behind lies we think are facts:
“I’m not creative.”
“I can’t sing.”
“I can’t dance.”
“I can’t draw.”
“I can’t paint.”
But these are not truths. They are fear dressed up as self-protection.
And it’s time we broke them.
