📖 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:9

There are days when the tasks feel so small, so repetitive, that you wonder if they matter at all. The laundry. The emails. The quiet, thankless efforts that no one sees but you — and God. It’s in these mundane moments that we’re most tempted to give up. But when we remember our why — the deeper reason we began, the vision God placed in our heart — we reclaim the power hidden in the ordinary.
Your why might be your family, your healing, your calling, or simply the quiet conviction that you were made for more.
In the Kingdom of God, nothing done in love is wasted. Even the mundane becomes meaningful when it's done with eternity in mind.

Reflection:
For me, it’s the wounded and the voiceless — the ones who feel forgotten, unseen, unheard. Communication, public speaking, and leadership stretch me far beyond my comfort zone. I’ve stumbled. I’ve felt exposed. But I keep showing up because my calling is greater than my fear. To bring God's healing to the nations, I must overcome the insecurities that whisper I’m not enough. I must acquire the skills that allow me to serve with clarity, courage, and love.
Changing the world one broken heart at a time demands that I become comfortable in my discomfort. That I choose growth over ease. That I trust God will meet me in the trembling and give me words that carry hope. Because when you know your why, you uncover the sacred thread that ties your ordinary days to your extraordinary purpose. It becomes the quiet strength that helps you endure the mundane — not because the tasks are exciting, but because they are sacred steps on a holy path.

Life Application:

Affirmation:
Creative Prompt:
Create a visual reminder of your “why.” This could be a painting, a collage, a journal entry, or even a photograph that captures what fuels your purpose. Place it somewhere you’ll see often — especially on days when motivation is low.

Closing Prayer:
Lord, help me to see purpose in the ordinary. Remind me of the dream You placed in my heart and give me strength to persevere even when the road feels unremarkable. May I trust that You are working through every small act of faithfulness. Anchor me in the truth that my labour is never in vain when it’s done in love. Teach me to lead with tenderness and to speak with boldness. Help me grow into the person You’re shaping me to be — one step, one heart, one day at a time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
