📖“Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves.”
Romans 12:10

In a world that waits for others to earn honour before giving it, Kingdom culture calls us higher. Honour isn’t given because someone deserves it — it’s given because we are honourable people. It’s not about performance, popularity, or power. It’s about seeing with heaven’s eyes.
It flows from who we are, not what others do.
It reflects our identity in Christ, not our emotions in the moment.

We don’t honour because someone never fails.
We honour because we remember the image of God in them — even when it’s cracked or hidden .
Honour is costly.
It requires humility when we’d rather be right.
It calls for restraint when we feel justified to speak out.
It teaches us to lift others, even those who might never return the gesture.
But honour is also healing.
It restores dignity.
It bridges divides.
It reveals the heart of the Father.
In the Kingdom, we honour based on :
Personhood — every soul is sacred.
Position — roles and responsibilities deserve our respect.
Relationship — covenant love covers and protects.
Honour isn’t passive — it’s powerful.
It doesn’t mean excusing sin or enabling abuse — it means responding from a place of wholeness, not woundedness.
It means choosing dignity over disrespect, even when no one’s watching.
So today, if people were watching…Would they learn how to be a woman of honour by observing me? 🤔 Would they see someone who walks in grace, who chooses words carefully, who lifts others without seeking to be lifted? 🤔

Reflection:
🖋️ Who in your life is difficult to honour right now? 🤔 Ask the Lord to show you His heart for them.
🕊️ Are there areas where you've withheld honour? 🤔

Life Application:

Affirmation:
Creative Prompt:
Take time to create a visual expression of honour.
That might be a portrait of someone you want to celebrate, a collage of meaningful relationships, or even a single word in beautiful script that reminds you of the value of honour.
As you create, ask:
👉 “Lord, who do You want me to see through Your eyes today?” 🤔
👉 “How can I honour them — even privately — through my words, actions, or prayers?” 🤔
Let this be your offering — not to impress, but to align your heart with heaven.

Closing Prayer:
Father God,
You are the King of Glory, full of honour and majesty.
Thank You for calling me to walk as Your daughter —
set apart, filled with dignity, and crowned with grace.
Teach me how to honour others from a pure heart,
not because they’ve earned it,
but because You’ve made me honourable.
Forgive me for the times I’ve withheld respect, judged hastily, or spoken without love.
Renew my heart and my eyes — help me see others through the lens of heaven.
Let my life be a quiet testimony of what it means to walk in Kingdom culture.
Where honour is not earned but freely given.
Where respect restores.
And where love leads every interaction.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
