📖 "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 19:26

There are voices that rise against faith: pride saying, “It’s impossible,” experience warning, “It’s risky,” and reason whispering, “It’s pointless.” How many times have we sat, like the woman in the image, head bowed in despair, believing that broken pieces cannot possibly be used for good?🤔

Yet faith speaks differently. It whispers from the depths of our spirit: “Step out, for with God, all things are possible.”
In Hebrew, the word for faith, ’emunah’ (אֱמוּנָה), is more than belief. It is steadfast trust — a loyalty of the heart that keeps walking even when the path ahead looks dark. Faith is not the denial of impossibility, but the boldness to believe that impossibility is the very soil where God plants His miracles.
I have learned that obstacles often become the canvas where faith paints the most radiant strokes. In seasons of despair, when I felt I had nothing left to give, I discovered that God’s strength shines brightest through surrender. My brokenness became the meeting place for His mercy.
The artwork paired with this devotion shows a woman bowed low in anguish — her tears watering the very ground that God transforms into life. The scattered fragments at her feet echo our own broken places, yet they glow with the promise of restoration. Like many of my paintings, it reminds us that surrender is not the end, but the opening for divine light to break through.

Reflection:
What “impossible” situation am I facing right now that God may be inviting me to trust Him with? 🤔
Which voice do I most often listen to — pride, experience, reason, or faith? 🤔
How might I see my brokenness as the very ground where God is preparing to display His power? 🤔

Life Application:

Affirmation:
Creative Prompt:
Take a page in your journal and sketch, paint, or collage a picture of your “impossible place.” Then, overlay it with gold, light, or flourishing life to symbolise God’s possibility shining through.

Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You that impossibility is never the end of the story. Help me to silence the voices of pride, reason, and fear, and instead lean into ’emunah’ — steady, trusting faith. May my brokenness be the soil where Your miracles spring forth. Teach me to step out courageously, even when I cannot yet see the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
