About the Event

Pain that's buried alive stays alive & morphs until it is brought to effective death at the cross.

Healing doesn't come by making something broken good enough to work, but by freeing us from the power of that broken thing so it can no longer rule us, and by teaching us to trust God's righteousness to shine in & through that very thing.

We're subject to the Word of God whether we believe it or not & when we transgress it, we set in motion forces that without God's intervention must be reaped by simple impersonal law that is absolute & eternal.

In our sinful responses to wounding we begin early to develop patterns of behaviour that cause us to reap in adulthood the very things we hate. Matthew 3:10 teaches us to lay the axe to the root.

If there’s present day fruit that’s unbecoming a Christian, there’s a root. With the help of the Holy Spirit those roots can be discovered & brought to effective death at the cross of Christ so we can begin to learn to protect our hearts in new, Godly ways.

We want to identify recurring patterns - job losses, betrayals by friends, or personal characteristics which you resented, disliked, or hated in the primary people who raised us, but which we now recognise in our own lives.

We interview to help recognise the bad fruit & discover where it is coming from so that the root can be brought to effective death at the cross.
