📖 “And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”
Galatians 6:9

There’s a particular kind of tiredness that settles in the soul — not from doing wrong, but from doing right again and again, when no one sees.
There is a weariness that comes, not from disobedience, but from obedience that stretches long.
When you’ve poured your love into people who didn’t say thank you. When you’ve done the right thing, only to be misunderstood. When you’ve been generous, but the need keeps coming. When your labour feels like drops in a vast ocean… lost, uncelebrated, unseen. When the sowing seems to go unseen.
When the prayers feel unanswered.
When the good you’re doing feels overlooked or unappreciated.
In those moments, it’s tempting to let your hands fall limp and your heart grow faint. To loosen your grip on what God said and question whether the harvest will ever come.
But the Apostle Paul — with a shepherd’s tenderness and a warrior’s resolve — urges us not to give up. Do not lose heart. Not because the journey is easy, but because the promise is certain.
The Greek word kairos used in this verse speaks of God’s appointed, divinely-orchestrated time. Not chronos — the ticking of the clock — but kairos — heaven’s moment. The season when the seeds you've sown in tears will break through the soil of waiting and bloom in due season.
Yet God sees. And He reminds us here in Galatians — do not lose heart. In the original Greek, it paints a picture of someone becoming so discouraged they want to let go, to unravel, to faint.
The harvest is not your burden to force — it’s your blessing to receive.
You are called to continue sowing good. Not just in the obvious places — but in the hard places. In the trenches of motherhood. In the silence of intercession. In the faithfulness of unseen service. In the gentle "yes" to God when no one else is watching.
Even when your heart feels tired, your courage thin, and the results invisible — keep going. Keep sowing beauty, kindness, truth, and love.
Because the One who sees in secret is also the One who rewards in due time.
He has not forgotten your labour of love.
He is the Lord of the harvest.
And He is never late.
But oh, dear heart — this is when courage must cling. When the arms of your faith wrap around the quiet truth that God is not unjust to forget your labour of love. When you hold fast to the plough and continue sowing good — not because the harvest is immediate, but because it is certain.
You are not sowing for applause. You are sowing for Kingdom fruit. And harvests take time. They take hidden growth, silent waiting, and roots that deepen where no eye can see.
The word for “season” in this verse is kairos — not man's time, but God’s appointed time. The divinely ordained moment when every act of obedience bears fruit.
So keep loving.
Keep showing up.
Keep giving.
Keep creating beauty from your broken places.
The Lord of the harvest sees. He remembers and He rewards in kairos.

🖼️ How this Image Completes this Devotion:
Skyward Bloom's soft, ascending lines and golden horizon, it whispers of hope rising from quiet perseverance. The petals seem to reach upward — not because they see the sun, but because they trust it will come. Like the weary heart that keeps sowing in faith, Skyward Bloom is a visual reminder that your season is coming. Stay rooted.

Reflection:
Where in your life have you felt weary from doing good? 🤔
What would it look like to re-anchor your hope in God's timing, not your results? 🤔
How can you honour your values of love, service, and courage today — even when no one is watching? 🤔

Life Application:

Affirmation:
You are not forgotten.
You are not faint.
You are sowing something eternal.
Hold fast, precious one — your harvest is coming. 🌾
Creative Prompt:
Create a piece of art or a collage called “The Hidden Season.” Include images, colours, or words that reflect your current place of sowing — the unseen work, the hope waiting to bloom. Let your heart speak honestly through the medium, and then write a note to your future self standing in the harvest.

Closing Prayer:
Jesus, strengthen my heart in the quiet places. When the world grows loud and my soul feels thin, remind me that You see what no one else does. Help me keep sowing love, truth, and beauty — even when there’s no applause. I trust Your kairos. I trust that every seed will bloom in Your perfect time. Sustain me until the season shifts. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
