📖"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Psalm 139:14

There’s a sacred stillness in the quiet act of weaving. One thread after another. Some frayed, others were smooth. Some are brilliant with colour, others faint with fading. And yet, each one is necessary. Each one chosen.
That’s what I saw when I painted “Knit Together in LOVE”. I wasn’t just creating an image. I was remembering. Remembering how God took the broken, the joyful, the in-between pieces of my story, and wove them gently into something beautiful.
Love doesn’t weave with perfection. It weaves with presence. With kindness. With deep knowing. And it calls each thread by name.
There were seasons I felt like a single strand unravelling. Times when I believed the lies — that I was too much, or not enough. But God, in His mercy, never let go of the thread. He knit me into His purpose, stitch by gracious stitch.
And so this painting became more than art. It became a reminder: we are never alone. We are held. Intertwined with others. Knit together in love by the One who sees every frayed edge and still calls it good.

Affirmation:
Creative Prompt:
Print or sketch a small yarn ball. Around it, write the names of people who’ve been part of your healing and add your own name, too. Meditate on how you are woven into something bigger than yourself.

Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You for knitting me into Your love. For choosing every thread of my story, even the ones I would leave out. Teach me to see beauty in the weave, to honour my place in the tapestry, and to celebrate the threads that surround me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
