Many of us wear masks for various reasons. For me, it was hiding the pain and shame I carried.

"Masquerade of the Soul" is more than a painting—it's a testimony. This A3 acrylic artwork on canvas card captures the intricate tension between what we show the world and what we silently hold inside. With regal reds, flowing golds, and bold contrast, the mask becomes a metaphor for the parts of us we feel we must protect or conceal.

It was through creating this piece that I began to realise how often I’d hidden behind a smile or a strong exterior, even when my heart was aching. This painting is a quiet invitation—for you, for me, for all of us—to step into the light of honesty and healing. It asks: What would happen if we let ourselves be seen—truly seen?
