What happens when eleven people step up, stand tall, and dare to say the thing that's been stirring inside them?🤔
Magic. Pure, electric, goosebump-worthy magic.
That's exactly what unfolded at the Speakers Tribe NZ Mini-TENx 2026, and I'm still smiling thinking about it. Eleven speakers. Eleven stories. Eleven invitations to the room — to lean in, to listen, and to be moved. Each voice distinct, each message carefully carried to the stage, and each speaker braver than perhaps they'd realised they could be when they first put their hand up.
This is what Speakers Tribe is all about. It isn't just a speaking club or a networking event dressed up in stage lights. This is what Speakers Tribe is all about. It's a community — a tribe of people who believe that words matter, that stories change things, and that your voice deserves to be heard. They believe that people matter, and most of all, that speakers matter. For many, this tribe believed in the speakers who weren't yet able to believe in themselves.
That is a rare and precious thing.
The Mini-TENx format exists precisely for this: to give emerging speakers a platform to step out, step up, and discover what they're made of under a little bit of (very loving) pressure.

I also had the privilege of stepping onto the stage myself — and if you'd like to see my talk, I'd be honoured for you to watch it. Speaking is always a vulnerable, beautiful act, and this one was no different.
There's something I always say about speaking: the courage isn't in being polished — it's in showing up. Every single speaker at Mini-TENx showed up. They prepared, they practised, they pushed through the nerves and the self-doubt and the inner voice that whispers "who are you to say this?" — and they spoke anyway.
That's the bravest thing I know.
