I wasn’t planning to attend the Beyond conference hosted by Catch the Fire last night because my exhibition was due this morning, and the community paint party was booked for this afternoon. But last week, I saw something that stirred me — and I signed up, not checking my diary.

After a full and hectic week of preparing for the exhibition setup, I was exhausted. I almost didn’t go, but last night... I went and I received this word from the Lord given by Isabelle Skúlason:

“The Lord is bringing joy, for there have been a lot of tears in your heart.

There has been a lot of unkindness that has come your way. You’ve often lived in an atmosphere of unkindness. You’ve experienced a lot of unkindness, but you’re going to experience the goodness and kindness of the Lord.

God is going to bring you into a place where the goodness of God comes upon you, dear.

You have been hidden, but not forgotten.

The Lord wants you to know, dear, He’s going to give you a cake—and you will eat it too. For many times, opportunities have been taken from you. People have often pushed you to the back of the line and you have not complained or said anything, dear.

I heard the Lord say He is bringing transformation. He will bring you from the back to the front of the line, dear.

You are not alone, even though at times it feels like it.

The Lord is also going to defend you, for there have been enemies in your life.

In a way, unrighteousness took place against you, but the Lord is going to bring righteousness in those things. Righteousness and justice will come into your life.

He will set some records straight and make things quite easy for you to go forward — for you have pushed against the wind a lot, dear, but the Lord is bringing the wind from behind you.

Lift up your countenance. You lower your countenance a lot, dear.

Lift it up — For God is bringing you into a new freedom.

Refreshment and freedom are being released in your life in this season and in these days.”
