When Your Story Finds Its Stage

📖 "The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens my ear to hear as the learned." — Isaiah 50:4 (NKJV)

There are things God prepares in secret long before they appear in public.

A quiet shaping of the voice. A slow deepening of the story. A patient, purposeful work in the hidden places of the heart — until the moment arrives when He says, "Now. Step forward. Speak."

This is one of those moments for me.

I'm deeply honoured to share that I'll be one of eleven speakers taking the stage at the Mini TENx Speakers event on Saturday, 20 June 2026, hosted by Speakers Tribe NZ at Te Pou Theatre here in Auckland. The theme is "Many Worlds, One Story" — and I can think of no more beautiful description of what God has been doing in and through the community of voices He's gathering.

🎤 A Stage Worth Standing On

Each speaker will deliver a focused 10-minute talk — ten minutes to distil a life's worth of learning, longing, and lived experience into something that might just change the way someone else sees their world.

From CEOs to creatives, coaches to changemakers, healers to history-makers — this stage is a gathering of courage. It's where stories stop being silent and start becoming movements.

These aren't self-help strategies or quick fixes. They're sacred, creative pathways — gifts God has woven into the fabric of human experience — that open the door to genuine heart healing. In ten minutes, I'll be unpacking what it looks like to let faith, creativity, and the gentle work of the Holy Spirit restore what life has broken.

This talk is the distillation of years of walking alongside wounded hearts, of discovering that healing isn't always found in the counsellor's office alone — sometimes it's found in a paintbrush, a song, a prayer whispered in the dark, or a story finally spoken out loud.

You might wonder what a faith-based creative ministry has to do with a speaking event. The answer is: everything.

At Healing 💔heARTs💖, we've always believed that story is one of the most powerful healing forces God has placed in human hands. When we tell the truth of where we've been — the fractures, the fire, the faithfulness of God through it all — we give others permission to do the same. We create spaces where people no longer feel alone in their pain, or in their hope.

This stage is simply a larger room for that same sacred work.

Isaiah knew it. God gave him a "tongue of the learned" — not for performance, not for applause, but to speak "a word in season to him who is weary." That is still the calling. That is still the assignment. To open your mouth and trust that the right word, at the right moment, for the right heart, is worth every trembling step to the microphone.
